All rides and attractions are inspected annually under either of the 2 HSE approved schemes. Namely; ADIPS for rides or PIPA for inflatables. This is the equivalent of a car having an MOT.
The rides and attractions must conform to Health & Safety Publication: HSG 175, ADIPS and PIPA are independent bodies and ensure that each and every attraction/fairground ride and amusement park ride or device is certified as safe for use. Each year inspections are carried out by an independent inspector whose capability to perform competent and independent inspection is assessed and monitored on an ongoing basis under the ADIPS scheme.
Ride operators are Members of The Showmen's Guild of Great Britain and as part of the membership must adhere to a strict maintenance schedule that is subject to ongoing checks. The Hoppings management team have our own very experienced safety team that will check each attraction and activity prior to its operation.
Each attraction is given a certificate with a unique reference number that can be checked on the inspection bodies websites. For more info please visit.
Photographer and videographers are on site throughout the Hoppings, capturing imagery which may be used in both marketing and editorial purposes. If you are aware that your photograph might have been taken and you do not want it to be used, please contact us saying where it was taken, date and time so we can ensure it is deleted.
